To transport your cake, place it on a flat and level surface in your car, such as on the floor or secured in your trunk. This will help keep it from smudging.

You should also drive carefully, avoiding speed bumps, fast turns, and sudden stops to prevent damage. It’s best to turn on your air conditioning so your cake doesn’t melt, too.

We do not recommend freezing The Bold Bakery cakes. It can affect the cakes’ texture and may lead to freezer burn. Instead, store your cake in the refrigerator if you aren’t immediately serving it to help maintain freshness. Cold cakes should sit out at room temperature for 2 hours before serving.
