Refund Policy

General baked goods

  • Quality control: In specified cases we will offer a replacement or store credit if a product is deemed subpar, but customers must often return the uneaten portion for evaluation then we can determine which path to take
  • Subjective taste: Refunds will not be given based on personal preference for flavor or texture.
  • Same-day issues: We will also require customers to report quality issues on the day of pick-up so that the bakery can address the problem immediately.
  • Final sale: In most cases we will enforce a final-sale policy on all food items and only offer a "make it right" solution, such as a replacement, if there is a problem.

Custom cakes and specialty orders

  • Acceptance at pickup: We will have an "accepted" policy, meaning that once a customer or designated person picks up the cake, you have verified the design and are satisfied with the product.
  • Corrections before leaving: If there is an issue with a custom cake's design, such as a misspelling, the bakery will attempt to fix it on the spot before you leave.
  • Cancellation policy: A non-refundable deposit is often required for custom cakes. Any remaining balance is usually subject to a strict cancellation window, such as one week prior to the event. In case of cancellation, you may receive a partial refund or store credit.
  • Refusing the product: If the cake does not meet your expectations at the time of delivery or pickup, you can refuse to accept it and may be eligible for a refund, minus a handling or cancellation fee.
