There are many different ways you can cut a round cake! You can: 

  • Create wedges or triangle slices
  • Cut your cake in half and create slabs
  • Cut it into geometric slices for even more servings!

An 8-inch cake typically yields 12 standard slices. But you could get 20-24 servings if you cut it into smaller slices.

After you pick up your cake, place it on the flattest part of your car. This is usually your floor or trunk. Make sure to drive carefully, watching out for road bumps and sudden starts or stops. Turn on your air conditioner to keep your cake cool to avoid any frosting melting or sliding.
